Green Life

‘Sustainability’ may seem like a big word that’s too difficult to digest at first. What does it truly mean to be sustainable or to live sustainably? There were many times where I cannot stop myself from dwelling into this question and so I took time to find out for myself.

Fashion Revolution SG 2016

The first time that really got me thinking about it was when I watched this documentary – THE TRUE COST a few years ago at the first Connected Threads Asia event that I’ve attended where I got so enlightened, walking out with fresh perspectives on the Fashion Industry as a whole. It really impacted me immediately. From there and then, I started caving in and did a whole lot of research, self studies and watching a whole lot more documentaries to find out more about the facts behind everything that were masked on the outside. I felt like as though I’ve missed out a HUGE part of this REAL life. All I could think about was ‘What the hell have I been doing on Earth?’ and the answer to my question seems to be nothing.

‘Feed your brain with the right information’ has been a mantra I repeat to myself on a daily basis to remind myself that whatever we see on social media isn’t all real. Without this constant reminder to self, we might often find ourselves lost in it.

To start off…Here’s some of the most impactful films that is totally worth everybody’s time to enrich and enhance our knowledge about the environment that we live in and how human impacts have both affected nature and our own lives.
