Green is the New Black

Is green the new black? Going by the overwhelming response to The Wedge Asia's Conscious Festival (28 November 2015), we definitely think so! Over the past year we have seen a growing number of sustainable lifestyle products and movements - people are choosing sustainable.

Connected Threads Asia was invited to be Talk Partner of the festival, and we had the opportunity to share a few words about our work after a very thought provoking panel discussion on sustainable fashion. Panellists Norman Tan (Buro 24/7), Daniel Boey (Fashion Director), Wuen Lin Tan (Touch the Toes), Stephanie Crespin (Style Tribute) and Giuseppe Spinelli (Raffles Institute) discussed the challenges of growing the sustainable fashion sector, and briefly touched on sustainable consumption.
